    Hello,

I have just taken another look at the BIOS for a system that was not able to run an ACPI HAL on any version of Windows operating systems.

The BIOS is AMI Aptio, but in the past, I was not able to do anything with the BIOS other than open it with AMIBCP 4.53 and MMTool 4.50.0.23.

Although I do not need to add a SLIC, I have tried loading the BIOS into AMITool 1.63, and it is not recognised as an AMI BIOS, however, Phoenix Tool 1.42 recognises it as an EFI/Insyde "BIOS" and dumps the modules to file.

Any help with learning about this BIOS would be greatly appreciated.

The motherboard was manufactured by Arima, but was never retailed. There are no similar motherboards.

Phoenix Tool can decompile any EFI to its modules. Perhaps consulting with Yen/andyp will be helpful.
