Hello, I have just taken another look at the BIOS for a system that was not able to run an ACPI HAL on any version of Windows operating systems. The BIOS is AMI Aptio, but in the past, I was not able to do anything with the BIOS other than open it with AMIBCP 4.53 and MMTool 4.50.0.23. Although I do not need to add a SLIC, I have tried loading the BIOS into AMITool 1.63, and it is not recognised as an AMI BIOS, however, Phoenix Tool 1.42 recognises it as an EFI/Insyde "BIOS" and dumps the modules to file. Any help with learning about this BIOS would be greatly appreciated. Download link: htt p://www .sendspace. com/file/9sv5hj
link can be broken htt p: //blabla. com/blahblah.htm mobo model ? any links to similar mobo that works ok acpi ?
The motherboard was manufactured by Arima, but was never retailed. There are no similar motherboards.
Phoenix Tool can decompile any EFI to its modules. Perhaps consulting with Yen/andyp will be helpful.
