    Hi all
something happened to my asus laptop and using different hardware monitors they all show that ACPI THrm is stuck at a very high temperature reading, even just after booting. The laptop is cold and all other temperatures are normal so sure thing is it is not the correct temperature reading. I found on the internet other people had the same problem, and nobody found a solution except sometimes 2 things worked: hardware reset and frequency overclock. ISA interface that the temperature is read from the sensor is by design dependant on the the main frequency of the system that's why it would make some sense why sometimes the second "solution" worked. But I tried both and for me nothing works. Anybody have an idea ?

ACPI THRM can be read with speedfan program at "temp1".
