i have no other solution than: uninstall acronis using "control panel" -> "programs and features" restart run acronis cleaner (see readme2017.txt for download) option 2 restart install again...
I solved, thank you for your help nova-s I followed your advice and now I'm not having any problems anymore. The problem I think was that I did not use acronis cleaner after uninstalling acronis true image 2015 ....

I have two questions if anyone would be so kind as to enlighten me. 1. How come you can get the iso image for free via download link on their own servers? I mean, shouldn't the images be trial as well? 2. What is the difference between the New generation and te standard one for bootable images? I understand that NG has data authenticity and ransomware protection but using the bootable images, which one is better? I'm thinking that their only available in the executable.
I only use ISO that let you boot and never install this software, but I do get the urge to somehow open the TIB files and I know there is a TIB Mount that is part of ATI, but how can I use without installing the software???
