One of the real cool things fixed/added in the 9850 is that the bootable linux iso it makes will work fine with NVME drives. The windows has a driver injector but, you still have to dig up all the drivers and inject them. They are all (mostly) added with the linux bootable iso it makes. Earlier editions usb3, nvme, and certain sata with weird chipsets for Intel zeons did not work (guess that's why is is a home edition). We just tested the newest Linux bootable and everything works!!!!! Now I just need to fix it up.... Thanks, Nova-s for all your work.
I had a previous version installed that started to fail because of new upstream version to download. I removed it rebooted then run the acronis uninstaller rebooted again, removed internet, antivirus software, installed the new version. It is currently installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome. But when I launch the patch, it say please install acronis first???? Did the layout change? I'm lost. EDITED: while I did stop the antivirus, it had quarntined the location already and probably did still run the patcher in a sandbox... So I had to explictly allow it.
ERROR: install true image first! that message comes up if the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Acronis\Home\libcrypto10.dll is missing. check that location, if you find only "libcrypto10.bak" instead, rename it to "libcrypto10.dll". if not, create any dummy file there named "libcrypto10.dll" (which will be replaced anyway). run patcher again. EDIT: but it looks like something has been going wrong during installation because mentioned file SHOULD be on its place...
I translate your screenshot for all AcronisTrueImage2018_10410.iso = boots a not registered trial version (with restrictions?) AcronisTrueImage2018.iso = boots a working version
We will wait with installing latest version , untill Master Nova provides a new medicin for 10410-version............. Latest Nova-medicin does not cure this version , so we all do hope he will help us again this time...........
