Well this a nice find lol. I was searching for a alternative image backup software and stumbled upon this lol. Glad it's a patch created here by a MDL member which gives me the peace of mind that it's 100% safe to use. Thanks a lot nova-s.The patch is working properly on my end EDIT::: Just a question on the usage of 127.0.0.0 on the host file. Any reason why you still stick to it? Whereas 0.0.0.0 is being used by almost all popular host files out there (MVPS for example).
it's just the localhost address this works fine since ages and there's no need to change to 0.0.0.0... (but you can change it yourself)
0.0.0.0 will give an immediate timeout while 127.x.x.x will try to check your own computer for a running web service and timeout after a predefined time. That's why 0.0.0.0 is the preferred method.
Why do they allow full ISO download with no need for cracks or registration? Bootable version is THE MOST secure and stable one, so it makes no sense...
Is there a portable version that would make backups on-demand and not run in the background the rest of the time?
