Hey guys, just a quick question. Because Acronis installs and runs many processes in the background, I want to install it in a VM environment and run it there to backup my files and folders in the host machine. BUT the problem is that it doesn't give me access to those shared folders. A window inside Acronis pops up and asks for some kind of credentials. Anyone have an idea how can I do that? I'm using VM Workstation player to run the guest Win10 machine. In other words I want to use Acronis to do my backups but I don't want to have acronis installed on my main PC.
How can I do that? Do I have to boot my pc in this or its a standalone version of Acronis that runs from usb?
I have to mention also that my external drive that I'm using to store all of my backups is encrypted with Bitlocker inside W10
