Hello everybody, it may be that the script does not work properly for me. When the script is started, the Dos window opens and closes briefly without a message. When you then start Acronis, you will be asked for the serial. I followed the activation instructions exactly. Greeting
hello, stop your security suite and try again. May you have to download the activation-script again. If this not work, start a CMD with admin-rights, switch to the directory where the batch is located and start the activation-script in the cmd. Then you should get an error.
1st page is the WRONG address! You didn't notice last date to be from 2019 ?? Look last posts here...
ERROR: Installed version 17.0.6673 is not supported by this script! Thanks was actually looking to activate some older version...
In my collection, I found the latest version from Nova: ActivationATI(H).zip from 03/27/2019 Do you have any experience with filehoster which do not distribute virus and malware which I can use for provide the file?
Thanks your offer, but got the latest activator version from nova-s from some other kind soul here... For some odd reason I cannot activate 17.0.0.6673 anymore, which I have been using for years without any problems using nova's 2016 activator. ATIH is not starting anymore. I did a repair install and reactivation using latest nova-s activator, but sadly no dice. Will try to uninstall, cleanup and reinstall and try again...
And don't forget to stop (temporarily) your security suite, anti virus tool and something like that....
I'm actually suspecting something else ! Is the libcrypto.dll that the activator replaces correctly signed ? My problem started after a win7 kernel update (extended support)... edit: check certificate of libcrypto.dll...NOT valid !
I don't know the dll-file libcrypto.dll, only the libcrypto10.dll. As far as I remember, the file has no sign. The file was from 2014? Right? Why you don't use the actual ATI-version 25.8.1.39216 with the actual activator-script? It works pretty fine on windows 7 ESU-updated.
Well you know why.. old habits never die ! I was using the 2014 version happily without problems and all configs were in there...Don't fix it if it ain't broken... Also curious why it suddenly died... Does libcrypto10.dll have a valid certificate ?
Normally, "security software" makes such things! Tomorrow, i can try the old version on my windows 7 test system with the old activator, to see, if it works or not. First I have to search for the old Acronis-version.... edit: As far as I remember, this dll-file was not signed!
I installed "AcronisTrueImage2014_V17.0.6673_de_(ATIH2014_trial_de-DE).exe" and activate it with "ActivationATI(H)_2019.03.27.zip" on my test-system with Windows 7 Pro, x64, ESU-Updated. ATI works pretty fine. See attached screenshots. At the moment, a full backup over network is running.... edit: full backup successfully finished, validation too
I have a 32 bit Windows 7 Test-system too, but I don't think, that would make any difference. I asume, ATI 2014 and the activator works pretty fine too, but I don't want to waste more time. Sorry.
