I have no idea what you are doing wrong but you do not need to activate it over the internet there is a screen that apears to enter your serial number.
For ATIH 2011, is there a need to activate over the internet???. One just enters the key and if it matches (the algorithm or whatever), the software becomes activated. Of course, if you register and look for updates, then it may be different.
And if you had download the demo version, there is no option to enter the serial number. You need to download the full installer from the acronis site.
That is not true since Acronis True Image Home 2010 the demo and full installers have been the same you can enter serial number i just downloaded ATIH2011_trial_en-EU.exe to double check.
Yeah - the OP did say version 11 and it had a demo version that was strictly that - a demo. He needs to get with the times and get the new one.
Rosco did you not read my post, trial or demo what ever you may call it are the same as full versions you can enter serial number and activate the product has been like this since 2010 versions of there products. i,e, download ATIH2011_trial_en-EU.exe or ATIH2011_5519_en-US.exe either will do.
