i have successfully activated msdn release using beta tokens.dat and pkey-config

has anyone tried this method using the tutorial here http://www.mydigitallife.net/2010/0...ice-2010-rc-rtm-escrow-with-free-product-key/ ?

i tried it on en_office_professional_plus_2010_x86_515486 and it now says that my office is now activated. i'm using a publicly available key

here is how i did it
    1. acquired a beta key from microsoft
    2. installed the official msdn release using a key found elsewhere.
    3. followed the steps here http://www.mydigitallife.net/2010/0...fice-2010-rc-rtm-escrow-with-free-product-key using my newly acquired beta key

will my office be a "beta" or a "msdn" with a msdn key and my beta activation files?

if it will be a "beta" then it is better than rearming manually.
