activating hp w7

    Since there is no HP key but plenty of working BIOSes how would I activate an HP computer with windows 7?

    Use modded BIOS, matching cert & any key matching your version of Win7.

    Dont worry about it im using a hp with win7 ultimate. It doesnt matter what key you use as far as I know.

    So we can use HP cert with another key?

    It has been stated many times in these forums - the key only matches the version of 7 installed - ie Ultimate, Home Premium etc.

    The cert and SLIC must match.

    So yes any Ultimate key will work etc.

    Its nice, but irrelevant, to match the key to the modded BIOS you may have but I used the leaked Lenovo key with a Dell SLIC until I found the Dell key.
