different kernel, different os, different everything. Better give up. Besides, why would you want office on a pre=beta build of an os full of bugs and uncompatibility?

    1. Turn windows defender off.
    2. Go to control panel > programs and features > turn windows features on or off > turn on .net framework 3.5.1
    3. Run: services.msc stop office software protection, stop software protection
    4. Run: office 2010 toolkit

Try getting a bizspark/msdn key from somewhere. Works great

I can confirm these steps, they work. I installed Office the same day 7955 got leaked and had the same issue. Activated .NET 3.5.1 Toolkit worked fine :D

Did you use 2010 Toolkit 2.0.1? Under Main, click EZ-Activator?

If you did the above and still not working, then you may want to uninstall it, delete all off 2010 entries(in program files, registry, users\your user name\AppData\local\m$\office...) then install again...

Well, the Toolkit requires .Net Framework 3.5 to run, so it should be enabled as ODY123 said. Until now that should be the only problem, which is not a Toolkit's problem, lol :D
