Activation on Dell laptops

    I have 2 Dell laptops. They are both Latitudes C640 and D610. I doubt the bioses can be modded as they were only really made for XP. Has anyone got any joy with activators etc. Do any of them work? If it's going to be a hassle then I doubt I shall install it.

    First thing first. What kind of BIOS (AMI, AWARD, PHOENIX) do your laptops have?

    I can tell you I have a Inspiron E1705 with a Phoenix BIOS. I used Hazer's Loader v1.2 and it worked fine. I'm not willing to flash the BIOS on my Lappy because i've read about too many bricked laptops on here and I really do not want a $1200 paperweight.
