    Hi All,
    Greets,
I want to know my options as per the Thread Title.
    Please don't suggest / ask for :
    (i) MBR + BIOS
    (ii) Modded BIOS

I am quite determined to use x86 on this 4 GB RAM Laptop.

Additionally, I would like to know how my options are limited by the choice of a particular edition for eg. whether i should go for Volume or Retail edition, etc.

    Anything else ?

    Thanks. ...

I wonder if the system has a MSDM for CSL?

If the system has a MSDM bioskey for CSL, the standard iso should read and use that key to install and activate.

    Sir,
Do you mean to say that since i am using the same version ( only changing from 64 to 32 bit ) which came preinstalled on this pc, It will automatically get activate with OEM license even in the second installation in a dual boot ?
    So, How to proceed ?

    Thanks. ...

Should simply work, no need to do anything extra.

At least the x64 to x86 should not matter.

Thanks for the great tip, Sir. I would really like to explore it in depth in the near future but as of now i am satisfied with a second Win 8.1 SL 32.
May i know whether i can proceed with a Retail ISO & What i have to do when it asks for a product key & Automatically Activate option during installation ?

    Many Thanks. ...

Normally, the oemretail iso reads the MSDM bioskey and uses it for installation/activation, can't test, I don't have a VM Bios file containing the 8 CSL MSDM, i have 10 only and that one won't work for 8 :(
