Hi all, for a few weeks i have downloaded the MSDN Gold release from Windows Server 2008 Enterprise R2 (x64). I have activated this version with an 'vista-activator' by selecting ultimate edition. And it worked so far. (the activation was successfully) I think that this is an type of OEM activation from Vista Ultimate. But now I have one big problem: After the activation and a configuration from a software raid1 over the disk management console from w2k8 my server is not starting up anymore! (before i made the configuration from the mirror all was working fine) Now I get the following error messages: acpi vista loader 2.1.2 done! fallback 1 find--set-root /bootmgr error 17:file not found booting windows nt/2000/xp fallback 2 find--set-root /ntldr error 17:file not found booting enter command line boot failed! press any key......cmd line Maybe anybody can help me? Or should i use an complete different way and versions? Best regards, Crus
XD killed da system with vista act*vator. From Server 2008 and vista we've learned never use cr**ks, that manipulate tokens.dat to activate the other system. tokens.dat also have runtime profiles in it, that describe which system modules can be start on which version. Now u maybe unterstand what happen when vista profiles injected in server. Best way: SLIC 2.1 and wait for OEM Key, till this use 180-day evaluation.
Hi, thanks for your answer. But one thing is not 100% clear for me: Why this crack is working without the internal software raid1? Because i get these problem only if i configure an raid1 with the windows internal board tools. (disk management) Any other options that i could use maybe? Best regards, crus
In short, use the Daz loader and get a copy of the 2008 R2 Enterprise key from the MDL forum and all will be well, trust me
