Yes, I'm new and as the title suggests I'm getting so many activation problems that the usual forum pleasantries will have to wait and yes I have seen all the threads about the cracks for W7 and all of the problems those have as well as the solutions to them.

Since we've established the fact that I can use the search button to find things (shock, shock, horror, horror) and that I haven't posted in the threads created for the other cracks we should probably skip forward to what my machine thinks it's doing because I really have no idea anymore.

Long story short; I've had removeWAT installed since febuary last year and have had no problems with it. Earlier on today I added some more ram to my system and when I booted it up and logged in windows decided to tell me that it needed activation so I re-ran removeWAT and restarted. Didn't work. Found and downloaded HAL7600 and ran it but instantly it tells me that the slmgr.vbs file is non-existent so I look around for more clue and fixes and eventually find Dazs loader. Thinking that this was the last option for a fix I ran the loader and it told me that my windows was already modified and old cracks should be uninstalled.

So here's the actual problem, removeWAT thinks it hasn't been installed yet and doesn't show the option for restoring WAT, HAL only shows an uninstall button which does nothing and dazs loader has both buttons greyed out. I tried every method I could find to restore WAT and remove any and all cracks but none of them seem to work. I double checked my windows updates and there was no KB971033 update installed, my AV/FW etc were off while I tried to do everything and I tried multiple times both with a net connection and without to crack this thing.

So what do I do now?

PS: I currently have W7 Ultimate installed and until today it's worked beautifully.

use google to find "fix wat" then fix wat then use daz loader.

Thanks for the quick replies but unfortunatley the advice is no good. I've already tried WATfix and read up the 1033 thread none if it seems to work, src/scannow didn't find anything wrong or damaged with my system. Windows has confused itself and me in the process lol

Ok try something silly, install the KB971033 update and that should fix the licensing service so you can start again.

You should have used Daz's wat fix to remove the RemoveWAT before installing any other activators..

Have you tried uninstalling HAL7600 then using wat fix, rebooting and checking activation status before using Daz
    's Windows Loader..

EDIT: Do what alextheg suggests :)
