i'm working on someone computer so i don't know exactly what he did only that he tried some cracks and they didn't work. the this is that now i go to properties Windows activation: Status not available Product id: not available how can i recover the initial product key so i can proceed with activation?
no bios mod tried loader but i can't use it until i get the script to work. it doesn't have any key installed right now.
Hi, I'm sure he used an activation disabler tool, it will kill the task which checks the trial days / license status of windows... so windows doesn't recognize if it is activated or not. It will display "not available" for licensing status, so it doesn't expire. This tool will just set some permissions so windows can't access files and deletes 3 registry keys. I guess you can check if the tool is still present inside his system...in order to undo the changes. Hope this helps.
ok i'll try to check that but is there a way to restore those settings without having the crack that caused it all?
@ Shuffle If you used any lo@ders before you tried the last one you currently have you most likely messed something up. Also if you used Orbit's toolkit or Chew-WGA i would advise to reformat and reinstall. Most of the people on MDL who use lo@ders make sure the previous lo@der is completely removed then try another. But in some cases lo@der litter in the O.S is possible in that case same thing reformat and reinstall the O.S.
