So i purchased an image asset program to help me organize my adhd brain of files and images so with my new website if someone wants to see 'wolves' it wont take me an hour to locate all of them in my computer. Trial version installed just fine.. bought the full version, deleted the old, and now it wont go past install login with a network error. , wont let me activate offline with a link either. Technical support said it was probably because i did not activate windows. So i have a windows 10 enterprise , not genuine copy and the digital lisc. Is not valid. So i tried to download the windows 10 home edition. Now i have a legit activation code but when i hit the change code..it says its invalid. Made sure firewalls were down and followed all the directions for the kms link. How do i downgrade to the home edition from the enterprise without deleting all my photos and doing a reset? 1. I have Windows 10 Enterprise Version 1909 OS build 18363.778 , After speaking to ACDsee customer service they suggested I pay for a copy of windows to make sure I have a functioning license key. So I bought the Microsoft 10 Home Edition for 1 device. Pretty sure it is the first time I have had to actually purchase Windows.. it has either already been on my computer or someone has helped speed it up or fixed what was running on startup and just always added the program. After reading these posts.. I guess I downgraded from Enterprise to Home vs going to Pro since I did not need 5 devices. 2. I would like to test the theory of the tech support duder to see if the ACDsee home2020 will install without an network error message if my version or copy of windows is activated. However if it still does not run then I have an activated copy of windows, lol woot woot but still my scatterbrained desktop and files need to be consolidated and organized so I can find the images I need for clients.. The ACDsee program goes through all the installation to the very end when you enter in you user name and password then has an error message that pops up that says network error. please try again later. then just closes me out of the entire program. So without an offline activation link or way to bypass the error message I still have no clue if it is actually the fact that my windows is not activated causing that message or if its something within the network properties. Hows that? a little bit better to understand? Trying my best to be articulate
I can't imagine that a non activated windows 10 is causing this. But, you could activate windows enterprise by KMS_VL_ALL* or HWID and see if it changes the ACDsee install experience. With invalid digital license do you mean the Enterprise install had a DL before? *KMS_VL_ALL has a debug option for when it doesn't work, when publishing the debug log, the dev can review this for what's causing it to fail.
No matter any activating software i use to activate my windows 10 pro it doesn't work.Is there any solution?
I was able to activate my Windows Enterprise with the KMS software! Sadly the program still shows the same network error sign. Perhaps my next solution is just to hunt for a different asset program.. or a Total Commander or something like that to help me organize my files and get them all in a subfolder system. Any suggestions of good programs for organizing my 140,000 images ??
I had never had experienced with ACDSee software with Windows 10 Pro, Win 10 Pro Workstation, Win 10 pro Enterprise or LSTC 2019 without any problems without KMS software! I don't use KMS because has some KMS injection viruses around.... ,, Other hand I use different tools make "Activated" without a hitch! ATGPUD2003
That's simply up to you to do whatever you want in your own Apps! If you're not a programmer, you'll need to get at least a bit more then simple basics! It's just worth to learn that!
okay sounds good I will do that.. however in the meantime.. do you happen to know what the error message is?? when I get it for that acdsee program? it says application error unable to start correctly 0x00000142
That's normal a compatibility error. May you run ACDSEE in Compatibility Mode and/or check with the Compatibility Troubleshooter.
