    Hi,

neither Vista nor W7 were cracked so far. Activators / cracks are useless!
They are using licensing files from RC version.
Such frankenbuid versions will be disabled by m$ at once and they will never survive WGA check. Additionally you'll get a timebomb again (expiring date)

Only way is to wait for SLIC /cert./ SLP2.1 combination either via biosmod or via softmod loader.

This will take some time since there are no serials /certificates leaked so far.

In the meantime enjoy your un-activated W7 and rearm it if needed. Don't cripple it by exchanging licensing files.

Nobody will continue to use these RC candidate versions after the release of the real W7 version. But it does extent the lifespan of 7600. So why is it so bad ? These windows versions are not being updated via Windows update anyway.

Bad? it's not bad...it's useless and might screw-up your installation
just rearm the installation and extend the trial period up to 4 months ("C:/Windows/system32/slmgr.vbs -rearm")

i agree that it does extend the lifespan or evaluation period for 7600. so the current activators or cracks are not completely useless.

they are useless, because they cripple the final build making it a frankenbuild.
Use the rearm and it gives you three times the ability making it 4 month till the final comes out and we can use the oem activation via SLIC/Cert/SLP Key

I agree with muiz, i hate seeing 30 days LOL, im sure we will all re-install windows 7 again as soon as slic activation is available.
So i really dont see the problem using RC method for now.. ;)

Ok, but it should clearly be stated that :
cracked builds (frankenbuilds) will stop working :
    - whenever MS releases an update rendering them unusable
    - after timebomb period
    - could lead to possible problems
    - reinstall would be (probably) needed to properly re-activate via biosmod/SLIC.

The last is unconfirmed and the worst-case scenario ;)

Yes you guys of course may use it if you want to.
This is a 'political' decision here at MDL as well.

To activate / crack and to provide 'cracks' even though they aren't really cracks may attract attention....and it promises something it can't perform, a permanently activation, genuine at WGA check....so please respect the decision not to post 'cracks' here at MDL...

IMO they are useless and I'm not the only one thinking like that. Have a look at above post(s), these are really GOOD reasons not to use them!!!
Rearm instead of up to 4 month....

    Thanks.:)

Well - temptation is part of the human nature ;)
The real strength is to resist the temptation to install the possible-rtm build before it is confirmed to be final.
But I'm now almost sure that 16385 won't be the final one. My 'guess' 16386 or 16387 so it's actually easier now to resist (when I saw 16385 I thought OMFG! then I thought again and stopped the download at nearly 60% completion :D )

yes i know. but there are some people who don't mind reinstalling , one of them is me.
if microsoft decides to release a patch to stop that rearm thing, you guys would not be saying so much too.

Re-arming won't be stopped because of the larger and smaller OEM vendors.
You can call it a business 'feature'.
Imagine a notebook or PC that is exposed to the public and running Win7's demo.
It must be then re-sealead to the factory defaults via sysprep (thus I think it's some kind of 're-arming').
