add new slic 2.1

    I need help ...

    I have a motherboard ASUS STRIKER II FORMULA
    added slic 2.1 Dell [DELL-QA09-1.0BNVDA] 2.1 and worked perfectly

    now I want to change the dell slic the new Asus [ASUS_Notebook-MSFT] 2.1.BIN = AF40CF7A but I'm not able, after that I simply flash the bios on the dell slic remains, someone here can help me?

    I did something similar with my Asus P4P800 SE, I had the Dell SLIC but changed it yesterday to the Asus one. Have you got a copy of the unmodded BIOS? When I did mine I just got the unmodded BIOS for it and added the SLIC to that rather than modifying an already modded BIOS. It worked for me doing it this way.
    I also used the Asus Update program in XP to flash mine, I have a dual boot system with both 7 and XP. I found out the Asus update program doesn't detect the motherboard in 7.

    Why flash it if it works for you ?, you ask for a dead mobo :rolleyes:

    sorry but I have a little difficulty with the English language

    the procedure is that?

    1 - flash original bios
    2 -?
    3 -?

    Procedure would be
    Download original bios
    Use AMI Mod Tool or Award Mod Tool (I don't know which will work on your BIOS
    Follow instructions on this page to add the ASUS SLIC to the downloaded BIOS

    You should then be able to use the modded BIOS to flash the motherboard.

    Friend this procedure has already been done for me ... put even after flash my bios, the remains DELL slic ...

    why do u want to change it if you have 2.1 slic dont try to fix what isnt broken or u will end up with a dead pc trust me i know it happened to me one time already from flashing to many times
