Installing a replacement Hard drive to this Dell Optiplex. The existing HD is failing and keeps coming up with bad sectors. I take it the Recovery Console is or has to be on a separate partition.
So imaging the existing partition doesnt sound like a good idea due to all the bad sectors.

I dont think the Win 7 install was legit, i did extract the Key from it and will probably give it a shot and see if it does work. But im wondering how to best set this new HD up to allow me the choice of Windows 7 or the Recovery Console via Windows Boot Manager.
