If you are using a test machine Uninstall Store using toggle tweaker 9=>1=>29 (make sure it's gone) and then try to install it again with that script

Im curious to know if i choose server or ltsb for the advantage of getting rid of the store ,what makes people need to install it again??!!
Even on LTSB some people may suddenly see the need for some app, or maybe they prefer a clean system to begin with and only the apps of their choice installed, or maybe they don't mind the Store and apps but want a Windows version that is stable and won't receive feature updates... There can be lots of reasons.
We want all the stuff! But we want it optional, not mandatory and non-removable in one version but impossible to install in another. LTSB still has advantages even if you add stuff to it, should be our choice what to add or leave out. Does that pretty much agree with why you guys are expending this effort here?
It works also when you need to repair store in normal windows 10 pro version. I have looking for a days to fixing store in my pc that force close before the window opened. Even wsreset.exe, dism restore health, and repair install cannot repair store apps that only wanted to force close. I almost want to clean install before found this thread. I tried to remove the *folder* from my pc and re-add from your version and run powershell. And it's working
insane and madness. Wasnt the point of using LTSB that you dont have store and s**t like that?. Then use Education. God!

I think the issue is on your end. I cannot confirm your results. Once you have the store, you can download every app that comes with Windows. No matter if it's Xbox or even the calculator or "insert random bloatware here". Name a game and I'll have it running as simple as click, install, run.
it wasnt on my end the app installs and it opens but the xbox identity app for sign in will be missing as it's a system app not a store install app
