I'm looking to use a bios file that is an executable. I would like to delete the bios file and put in another the same size but has Slic 2.1 in it. I must say I'm out of my league here.

    Thanks

there are several possibilities, some extract to a folder in your temp directory or C:\ drive or even the current working directory, then you could just replace the file before flashing...
but why not just use a Dos flasher, or perhaps a windows flasher?

sort of, I assume from what was said that you are speaking of an executable containing the windows and/or Dos flash tools and the bios all in one package, winflash, winphlash or afuwin being the actual windows flash tool and the executable that you speak of being the file containing everything necessary including the bios...
but without a link to the bios I guess it is all speculation...

that is what I suggested, now why don't you post a link or a model number and perhaps you can get an answer, there is many different ways of creating that file... the method will be different depending on the file you start with...
