IMO it would make more sense to sticky it after it's gone live. Don't think the mods want the unwanted attention before then if you know what i mean.
To show to the whole world that this forum knows about leaked oem slp keys for win7 is like shooting one's own foot. The era of winvista has long gone; let us not compare it with this time with win7. We should realize that msft nowadays is very active, alert, and very aggresive to uphold its own interests. Let us not give msft ammo to bully this forum. Look at what msft did to the site gosugoon and you will see how ruthless their lawyers could be. There are other means of giving info to the members of this forum; but i think, not in the manner suggested. My own 2 cents. This reminds me of a chinese saying, "...more talks, more mistakes; no talk, no mistake....".
..... They're no different now than they were "back in Vista's day" in regards to this... or if they are differen't, it's more relaxed. Hell... "back in Vista's day" they went after people who made Vista skins for XP.
Because 1) search ranking are very important to moderators source of income. (see those empty spaces where your adblocker deletes them) So robots.txt will not be altered to block google or any other web crawler. 2)because any Microsoft Lawyer who can complete a captcha can become a member, so making only non-members not see do nothing. Plenty of MS employees probably have accounts here already 3) the keys were already leaked at a different site (there are no secrets on the internet) They have better leg to stand on (which is none) for shut down because of distribute act*vators/loaders not so much worried about a few keys in text format. Think about it.
MS doesn't care about the leaking of SLP keys after GA. If they did we would have taken down the Vista SLP keys. Once Windows 7 reaches GA and more keys start leaking we will make a sticky thread.
