My brother brought me his Lenovo Yoga 11 today because Adobe Flash kept causing Flash to crash in every browser. Edge, IE, Chrome. It would just stall. I tried updating video drivers, malware scans, etc. It's a pretty fresh untouched Win 10 install. Really could not find a resolution. So went upstairs to use my Yoga 13 and I'm now having the SAME EXACT issue on my computer. How do I find what Windows 10 update hosed me here with this integrated Flash? Going to Test in Windows Edge, animation starts for split second then page just stalls and needs to recover. If I get on youtube, best I can get is the bar loads, but nothing plays. Thanks for the help!
Had the same after an update of flash player not trough WU but from Adobe it self ! My solution deinstalled that version from settings -> software
It was stated as flash player at my computer but maybe you could google for how to deinstalling flash player to solve your problem and reinstall an proper one
I already did that. With Windows 10 it's integrated and updates to Flash are pushed through Windows updates. There is no uninstall option or uninstaller.
Same problem here, I uninstalled Flashplayer from the list of programs (It's not integrated in Windows, I only use Firefox) and installed the earlier version of Flashplayer (18). It did not solve the problem... The problem is either in Windows or Firefox, which just has upgraded to version 41.
Aah oke thx ! Had version 40 but now updated itself to 41.0 let's check out if flash player crashes I let you know update : Nah no crashes here
I resolved my issue. It looks like some people said RealTek Audio driver update fixed their Flash crashing system wide. I don't have realtek audio. But I did download the update from Intel for the 4000 Graphics (Which includes the audio driver) v15.33.39.4276 from 9/19/2015. This resolved the issue on both machines. Had to reboot twice on one machine for some reason. But now both are working again.
I found the culprit... There was an error on a particular Dutch website I frequently visit that caused the Flash Player to crash. Now that the item has gone from this website Flash doesn't crash anymore.
Did you ever try to disable the protected mode for Flash? Search for the file mms.cfg and add the following line: ProtectedMode=0
