All exe files turning to a WD utility icon

    blast through it with the windows executive. I dunno what u are talking about

    1.) Create a folder and name it autorun, put a WD.ico " search in bing, google whatever for the WD.ico file",copy to the created folder.

    2.) Created a inf file with the name autorun.

    [autorun]
    ICON=AUTORUN\WD.ico

    Put the file extension .inf

    3.) Copy booth to you´re WD Passport root.

    Maybe these solves the problem you descrbe.

    Thank you everyone!

    I solved the issue by running ( Kapersky Virus Removal Tool and Rogue Killer) my own anti virus'es'.

    Sadly, all exe were deleted but resolved the issue on the new downloaded apps (including my back up copy on the external drive).
