hey all! I was wondering if there is a good all in one messenger app? Besides Trillian though. I remember someone posting it on other site a messenger which its name starts with letter "D"... i am aware of Pidgin..but any other good ones if you can tell me with link, thanks. appreciate it
It looks nice but it's not open source and isn't cross-platform(yet). Don't want to use it if I can't use it with a native GNU/Linux client. I tried to do some digging around to find out when the client was going to released but could only find "soon".
I use pidgin because it's the only multi-IM that I know of that supports xFire. I use it for MSN, gTalk, xFire, chatterous, and irc. It supports a bunch more that I don't use.
