OMG! unforgetable.... Omdhar I need your help, please delete some msgs from your inbox so that i can PM you..
Why do you want another tool to insert key when already vista7 slic ldr contains all those keys (except server 2003) and can insert slic, cert or even key seperately. And custom add for any new slic, cert or key. Anyway, good luck. Sorry, you can pm me now.
Please correct me if i am wrong but wasnt the same thread by the same member locked earlier because of an earlier take down notice by MS? Sorry to be party pooper, but am astonished that an identical thread continues to flourish. Again, correct me if i'm wrong and nothing personal guys.
Thats right, i have the old one and it was locked due to something i cant remember now. Aha, OEM crap key.. OEMSLP ftw
OEM keys can and will be easily blocked but they cant block OEM SLP keys.. and theyre not allowed here on MDL, only OEMSLP keys are.
thanks for your reply's but i still don't under stand why the DMCA would request that those lame xp oem keys be removed when they were most likely the smallest threat on the whole site when it comes to windows software
I deleted the thread as it violated the DMCA request, however Pkaji has made the right adjustments and so the thread may continue. Well XP belongs to M$ so they can request whatever they want, im sure in the end the same thing will happen regarding Vista and 7........ once they've let us have our fun and hype up their OS.
"DMCA request" is not a request made by DMCA as if DMCA is an entity that can make requests. "DMCA request" is a request (by M$ in this case) by copyright owners to remove information that can infringe on their copyright, citing the DMCA as the authority to make such a request (i.e., threatening to sue based on DMCA). Why OEM SLP keys would be more interesting to M$ to complain about is anyone's guess.
OEM SLP isn't for "Public consumption" so as to speak. MS don't want their customers to know about it, that's why the sticker on the side of a PC is a COA and requires phone activation, even though an SLP cert and key would work perfectly. Also, it's so they can sell media to someone (e.g. Dell CDs with the keys on them) instead of letting someone else use a disc and change the key. Greed, basically.
