    Need to read more about Dell bios decompose.
    Don't know if still available for E6400
    But:
    -biosFileName.exe -writehdrfile
    Code:
    extract hdr file (ROM file with header,krom file and checksums)
    -biosFileName.exe -kromfile extract only krom file,
    Code:
    keyboard controller,also know as KBC or EC ,this is the firmware for main controller of notebook.it deals with keyboard,hardware controll.is something like SUPER-IO in PC's but with more functions included.
