i activated windows 8,unlocked all the features. but in the tray notification its showing activate windows now (important). when i click that it opens this window ..can u tell me what to do now?
Hm...........! Isn't it that those notification will not show up anymore if "successfully" activated? So it works on all of my machines and those I installed Windows 8 to!
When you are activated by installing a legal key on 8pro, you find "ad features ...". When activated by KMS, you find "activate with new key" here only on enterprise version. Cannot say about 8pro VL. Enterprise shows expiration date when activated by KMS. W8pro activated with key says activated dd.mm.yyyy

Heck whats up with this "Activate with new key" discussion, can't you see on hes Picture the obvious? He is ACTIVATED but has the DEFAULT RETAIL Key installed (unless the key he uses just has the same ending), windows sure won't like that... There isnt even a time when windows expires, so no KMS, something funky going on with hes activation.
As predicted here countless times, due to birdbrained and greedy people do not read, that crap will bother all, trying to help . Will they ever learn......
What me confuses is, that these clowns do brainless things prior to read here to get proper advise. The funny side is, that most even do not realize that they were fooled. I think there is a good quantity out there thinking they are activated but are definitely not
You are Right when WINDOWS 8 Activated Properly & Legally Its Not Show anymore Product Key Entering Portion. Somehow Activated By KMS Key Show the Expiration Date in Activation Panel.Because KMS work For 180 Days and It'll describe you the Grace Period of WINDOWS. Brother Do you Try these Steps For Activation Determination : Go to Left lower corner of your Screen there Little Start is Present, Right Click on it and than Command Prompt(Admin). In Command Prompt Type this " slmgr/xpr " command, It'll Show you after A bit of time interval that your WINDOWS 8 is Permanently Activated OR its Not,If Not permanently Activated than it shows Grace Period of WINDOWS. And Post your " slmgr/xpr " Result. Also Tell Do you run any Activator on your Machine To Activate WINDOWS 8 ?
Glad I'm not alone in thinking that it's amazing that they jump on the W8 bandwagon so quick and early yet they hadn't been keeping up with information on a forum such as this.
did you change something hardware wise, if you did put it back reinstall and it will be ok, I did a reinstall and unhooked my 2 extradrives when I did it it said I needed a new number so I hooked up the drives and reinstalled and that fixed it, windows 8 is a picky system change something and it takes a crap on you
