Since the author of Daemon Tools is asleep when RTM has been released after stating DT didn't support beta OSes, I was wondering what other alternative FREE Iso mounting software there is - ones that are working 100% with Windows 7?
I downloaded the latest daemon tools lite and worked like a charm, I used it to install a language pack from an ISO image. when installing just OK the warnings and you are good to go.
okay thanks guys - if DT works in W7 then its fine. I also updated the SPTD to 1.59 so hopefully won't get any probs!
Are you installing version v 4.30.4 / v4.30.0305 ? Only these come with SPTD 1.58 beta (that is the first version that was compatible with Win7). Well - it will provide you with a warning message - just ignore it. You should use SPTD 1.59 x64 for x64 OS. All went well on a few of the rigs I have installed it into.
alcohol 120% or poweriso. poweriso doesn't support mds format though. alcohol 120% does support mds. not sure if VirtualCloneDrive supports mds format (never used vcd). daemon tools messed up my system. i will never ever use it again.
