I still want to use OneDrive because I have 365. Onedrive randomly redownloaded a bunch of old crap I had previously deleted, it also renamed all my files -7700x after buying a new laptop. Now I have a ton of duplicate files and a bunch of broken apps again. IDK why MSFT thinks its a good idea to automatically sync everything however their crap chooses rather than allowing user to audit changes and select individual folders. There are many tools to viewdiff, IDK why microsoft doesn't.
can turn off sync in the settings part thats how ya stop it from doing it hence how ya stop it uploading everything on it if ya download stuff to the desktop
@chaython These problems are on your computer and you have to eliminate them from there. They are not general, therefore it is not possible to give any special recommendations. Maybe only that you can try to completely uninstall OnDrive, clean your computer of old incorrect settings and registry keys, and then reinstall it. If it doesn't help, then you need to do a clean install of Windows. Of course, there is an option to turn off automatic synchronization and do it manually or use a third-party tool. Personally, that's how I've done it and I use FileZilla Pro and everything works exactly as I want, but not as dictated by Microsoft. You can do the same, but there are other options and not a few. Choose for yourself and decide for yourself what and how you will do.
