Well, windows 8 reached RTM state early august, got release date mid-october. windows 8.1 reached rtm state late august, got release date mid-october. So if windows 10 reaches rtm late july, would we expect release date september?
yep and windows 8 and windows 8.1 is a complete nightmare somehow Microsoft never learns look at windows 10 build 10056 starting to be a nightmare all over again can see me going back to the good old windows 7
what ? they must be crazy, if M$ do that with the current status of Windows 10, then it will be like another Windows ME/Vista. because it currently have several issues with drivers and apps compatibility, including modern apps that are not working as expected and more issues.
Remember this is a rolling release - giving them time to release SP after SP... As in all IT projects the 80/20 rule applies ...Oh, and drivers usually only gets sorted at RC stage - i.e. after feature complete.
current state to RTM would be 3 months away then. I highly doubt they would stop working on a system now in its current state to release in July, if July is even the month it would be released. That would be 3 months to squash bugs and refine the system. So even if July is the month it is released you can be sure it wouldn't be in its current state.
Have you ever stopped to think that it might be ur pc or that u might need a new one or incompatable hardware etc? ive had 0 problems with this build except slowness aka mem leaks or something slowing the system down, playing games are fine, videos run smoothe but only 1 thing didnt work was my ability to install my intel Lan drivers which i can live without tbh. im just saying this build for me works alot better than the Ms crap they released lol. btw dont take what i said in a bad way but just saying this build works fine and i know what works on some dont always work on all ......my pc is AMD system so i know it works
To me 10056 works fine no difference over win 8 or 8.1 preformance wise. Stable also Like RTM not feel that something not work possible some mini issues.
AMD can say anything that she wants, but the currents UI in latest builds of Windows 10 sucks, and microsoft proceed slow with the development.
I tell you one thing it's not a secret m$ stated for a summer release so within the 3 month period i personally think RTM will hit in august.
in what way does the current UI suck? calender looks smarter than before, they added a nice alarm clock as well and the world clock looks ok as well? if ur talking about transparency then maybe stick to windows 7 lol.
All I'm hoping is that they don't pull another Vista. But there seems to be an ongoing trend. Windows XP was fine Windows Vista sucked. Windows 7 was fine. Windows 8 sucked. Windows 8.1 didn't suck as much. So we can assume by that standard that Windows 10 will be fine.
remember MS are in the 10100's builds no one has seen them they should be better than the builds we have seen like 10056
Great we are going to have an RTM build that really isn't gold. It will look gold but taste like crap lol
Wanted to say I've used that icon as the recycle bin and it sucks. There's no border or anything that highlights it over a light/white background. I know it's not a professionally made icon but having different colors in the icon is good to prevent it from getting lost. However, I could see that icon looking good on a live tile. Also, the new recycle bin icon you see in the new W10 builds is part of a complete set, they just have yet to implement it for us.
