@lite8 good find dude well for a while I'm new with AMD cpu's (see my sig)and I'm very happy with it for me this cpu make your job fine then imagine the new Ryzen but unfortunately I haven't money to change at least for a while I believe that AMD make one thing salutary launching this new cpu so Intel need give your jump lol
If i undestand correctly yea maybe it will move intel to more agreesive innovation its been 10 yeats 7 gen's that missed the goal of its name
I was planning on getting an i5 chip but I'll wait to see if this price drop really happens, so far at PC Part Picker I'm seeing no joy
Information on the high-end AMD Ryzen processor: Ryzen 7 1800X 8/16 3.6 GHz 4.0 GHz 16 MB 95W-SR3+ AM4 $499 US 95 Wat I think there is going to be a price crash within the release of the new AMD Ryzen processors to the market. What I am seeing on the information being disseminated online is that there is nothing so much interesting than people are grabbing those released at elatively cheap prices. But, there seem to be lacking GPUs in some of them. I am really loving this. I like competition a lot. Thank you AMD.
well depends who are making OV and is obvious that need water cooling also, myself ever make OV several times and no issues
@Hadron: That's the reason I stayed away from AMD and always used Intel processors. AMD always ran hotter than Intel. And heat takes away from the life of a CPU.
AMD's Zen SR7 chip only runs at 95 watts power, that's very comparable with the Intel i7 6700k (skylake) which runs at 91 watts.
