FYI and a curiosity. I did the SiMPLiX modern iso creation, and installed and ran fine. Downloaded AMD';s B450 chipset drivers v2.17.25.506. When installing them, several drivers (USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and the "hub" for each) "failed to install properly". Then if I take the extracted drivers from the package (my usual routine for storage and future use), and try to install them from the device manager, Windows 7 finds them and installs them, and then ALL USB stops working. No mouse, keyboard, nadda. The existing versions, presumably MS defaults from the SiMPLiX+Windows 10 iso work fine. Odd, no? Why are they seen as proper drivers by Windows if they are 100% broken?
amd proprietary usb3 drivers for 7 sucks, i had many issues with them as well on b450 generic ones are much more stable and support usap
I remember that the USB3.0 driver has been updated in the KB3125574 patch solution. The driver version of this patch seems to be 6.1.7601.24343
