I'm interested to know this answer. I've messed up a lot with MTK based devices in the past, but each time I was rescued by the MTKDroid tool! This tool supports flashing a ROM image that re-creates partitions like /system, /data, /recovery, etc.

However, I've recently got myself a Xiaomi Mi-Pad. I've tried the Mi Flashing Tool recently and glad to know that it does support flashing. However, I couldn't find any MBR/EBR1 files inside the stock ROM images, does that mean the flash tool won't recreate the stock partitions (in the worst case scenario that I ever messed up with my partitions)?
