    No lie I was just thinking about this just a few seconds ago. I wish there were an animated icon for network connections. I'll check it out anyways :rolleyes:

    What happened to version 1.2? I'm using it and it works fine and looks good. Now version 1.1 is the official version? I'm confused.

    that one from deviantart is a hack/repack or whatever...

    the real/official one is from the link i posted previously...

    but if you happy with the one from deviantart, keep using it, should be no problem... i guess

    I am looking for something that correspond with the network transfer rate, not time interval.
    Any ideas?

    There is a diference when you receiving/sending data and not in defaiult icon
    but it's very little difference. when there are activiti the computer icon will light up a little bit. but I almost ca see it with bright bacground

    Sounds like an idea for a gadget. Probably already is one.
    Most laptops now come equiped with these things called "L.E.D."s. They are amazing inventions that flash whenever your CPU or Internet is active and/or working. :rolleyes:
