I've heard there's a new ISO for OEM's thats Anniversary Update (RS2) 1607.1. Anyone know about this???
RS2 still is at the beta level (insider previews), must have been a premature publication of the release?
Tomorrow is Patch Tue. We should get new CU for 14393 (Anniversary Update). Maybe something to do with that. Anniversary Update is RS1 Creators Update is RS2

That's the whole point of Long Term Servicing Branche But refresh esd's/iso's just means there are updates integrated (normally superseded at moment of release).
I think you're still confused about what LTSB is. LTSB will get the same CU as any other versions. There isn't any feature upgrade in it. Why LTSB shouldn't get the update?
He mean Enterprise LTSB 2016 will not get a new ISOs with CU already integrated, which are expected tomorrow or next week
Updated ISOs are just pointless teese days, you have to download a ton of updates no matter the starting ISO. Whatever he wrote I don't think that the whole point of LTSB is to start from an older ISO, just to get the same update fee minutes after the installation. The whole point is to not have surprises with feature updates (perhaps a partly broken promise given MS is managing to break the WMC also in LTSB 2015 and 2016)
You really have your monthly cycle, isn't it? I know what ltsb means and stands for, i reacted on someone and in my reaction i "corrected" myself by saying refresh iso's are just updated iso's and already superseeded at the moment of release.
