Upgrading from Win7 to 10 removes the Loader anyway (by overwriting the bootloader stuff).

Thanks. This is something I've wondered. It's reassuring to know this. Thanks again.

You can force enable the feature currently if you want:

    - install update 19045.6093 or later
    - run the following in Command Prompt as administrator:
    Code:
    sc.exe config DiagTrack start= auto
    sc.exe start DiagTrack 2>nul
    reg.exe add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Policies\Microsoft\FeatureManagement\Overrides" /v 4011992206 /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
    - restart the system
    - run the following in Command Prompt as administrator:
    Code:
    cmd /c ClipESUConsumer.exe -evaluateEligibility
    reg.exe query "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\ConsumerESU"

Thanks. It seems amazing that this is available to do (but I can see that it makes sense). I'm a little wary of drawing attention to myself by doing it, but might do it if I'm still not eligible later. Thanks so much for all of your help.

Wonder what happens if I try this on Enterprise SKU (but with digital/retail activation/hwid/non-volume)...
