Hello Everyone, I'm trying to make 2 usb drives with win 11 home and pro that can bypass tpm 2.0. I don't want to download an iso from other sites because I'm afraid that they have added stuff to the images or use any scripts/bat/cmd files as I need this to be as easy as possible and the usb drives to be as clean as possible. I remember there was a method that was used to bypass tpm by copying files from an older windows 10 iso to the win 11 iso. Can someone tell me what files I need to use to do this?
It was copying the win 11 install.wim to the sources folder of a windows 10 ISO, replacing the win 10 install.wim (option 1). Or just fix the ISO with option 2: Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT
Many thanks to both of you. I have tweaks for my win 11 pro installed on my laptop and the stuff needed for my usb drives.
The Original old manual way save at Bypass.cmd, At setup, press Shift F10, d: e: f: Enter, Bypass, Enter Code: del /f /q "%~dp0sources\appraiserres.dll" reg query "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinPE" || (start "11" "%~dp0setup.exe" &exit) for %%X in (RAM SecureBoot Storage TPM Disk CPU) do reg add HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup\LabConfig /v Bypass%%XCheck /d 1 /t reg_dword /f start "11" "%~dp0sources\setup.exe" *************************************** *************************************** I don't recommended to use it anymore Use Enthousiast Tool Or Avayo (BAU) tool instead
Deleting the appraiserres.dll file during boot is useless, the file is not even used by setup from boot only at upgrading by running setup on a live windows.
That was a quick batch script to put on a usb. It was meant to hit more bunnies with one stone - you could run in in windows, or from boot. While the entry seems redundant now, it was not at that time
If tldr than skip to the [workaround] Section. Having a outdated MB without TPM and an older i7K SkyLake 6th Gen CPU. Both not supported. Went mental when MS introduced Windows 11. Not possible! Go away with your BS! Windows 11 is just a different version of 10. If Windows 10 runs fine on my machine so will windows 11! I am not willing to buy a new PC because Microsoft demands it! And yes, there was a way: With the upgrade from 10 to 11 (21H1) I could skip the TMP and CPU requirements by using the installer of 10 and copying the install.wim file from 11 to 10 and install "Windows 10".... Ended up with Windows 11, 21H1. That option was closed off with 22H2 Continued with 23H2. After a while I bought a newer MB and a 12th Gen i7K. 23H2. No more skipping for me I thought until it went defective. So I RMA it under warranty. Will receive that board within days. I the mean time I reverted back to my old system. Wanted to upgrade it to 24H2. (don't want to go through this with my new machine. That must start with a new install because the hardware is now compliant. What's left is to install the software on it and transfer my personal data to the new machine.) Did the upgrade to 24H2 2 times already on my old machine; The first by using your method by skipping those requirement and a special prepared ISO version of 24H2. Went good! Came across some nasty s**t; SFC is not working properly and Cleaning the SxS store went haywire. SFC is the only tool to verify that Windows is OK. Complained about Microsoft.Web.WebView2.Core*. Will repair it.... After that a recheck? The same issue. (Build 26100.2033) Was know. KB5044384 (still in the insider program) will solve this... Nope. I was drawn into a MS swamp with nightmare issues. OK lets try then the official way; Upgrade to 24H2 by using the official MS ISO of 24H2 and using the server option. Went well. So far so good. Build was 26100.1742. And along came KB5043178 (went wrong) en KB5044030. Needed a reboot. After that it wanted KB5044284. Installed it with succes. Needed a reboot. After the reboot again: KB5044284 wanted a reboot again and again etc. Removing was not possible. This all because Microsoft f**ked up their 24H2 and their Patches. Not your problem. But..... [workaround] Maybe ridicules to point out; there is a normal way to skip those TPM and CPU requirements with ease using the official ISO from Microsoft. "setup.exe /product server" A different part of the normal installer will show up and it says it will start installing a Windows Server version. That message is a bogus one. It wil start with an upgrade of your Home/Pro/etc if you choose for an upgrade. At a new install you have to choose the version where you have a key for. (Did not tried this one. All I needed was an upgrade, not a new install because I would loose a lot of data) It does it's job without any problems. Is there any reason for not using this option? (Why not and elaborate) Did an earlier upgrade with 22H2 and 23H2 using this server option without any problems. It functions also with the current 23H2 to 24H2; no SFC or SxS store s**t until those KB patches came along.. But I assume this was already known for a while. That server option I mean......
What I meant; It is not necessary to use any script to bypass the TPM and CPU requirements. setup /product server is sufficient. (Maybe it will not work on an i3) And my machine? Is heavy enough to act as a server. (Not with a heavy server load, only 1 CPU and Networkcard) But I got my answer. I will user the server option for my old machine. Don't need it anyway on my new machine. (TPM & CPU compliant) You called 24H2 buggy. I use stronger words. It is not finished! This version should have stayed in the insider program as long as all the major bugs are gone. I have seen things that I don't qualify as a bug. It's broken; back to the drawing board with it. 24H2 was released under pressure. They said fall 2024. They were dumb enough to release it. And now... The backlash.
