I have an i7 6700k and it's the only thing that's preventing me from trying Windows 11. Is there a workaround?
Or just use one of the two tools from the sticky threads: Dynamic Windows 11 Setup TPM Bypass By @AveYo Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT by me, use option 2
While Windows itself might run, my "experiments" with both Dell Optiplex 3040 & 3046 were less than usable Sound would just not play (no pun intended) the ball. Front/back jack sense would not work, even USB audio was always too low volume Or the audio would just disappear, only to come back after reboot No matter how many driver updates I tried In the end reverted back to Win 10 & all started behaving as expected But your millage might vary
depends on which Win11 version (either 21H2 build 22000.x or 22H2 build 22621.x) you were experimenting on those Dell Optiplex PCs I did not have those audio/sound problems when beta testing the Win11 22H2 22621.x builds on an old Dell Inspiron e1405 (2007) laptop
Works fine on my 9550 Dell with 6700HQ and my custom-built desktop with 6700K. Clean install on both Try using SDI (Snappy Driver Installer)
