I have W10_2021_IoT installed on a GA-MA785GM-US2H (SATA-3Gb/s) circa 2009 - 2010 or so, with a Realtek ALC889A until I can install to my newer ASUS TUF B450 (may be 6 months) BUT there are no drivers newer than W7. Is there any way to manipulate or rewrite older drivers like "pm67310" does with old graphic card drivers and makes them work on new W10 systems?

    thanks

Aside that w7 drivers almost always work on w10, this kind of card should work simply installing a random realtek driver package, and you can find them practically everywhere from any era from xp to win 11.

thanks for the info. I found one at guru3d. I don't know what I was thinking. (maybe I wasn't) Semi-embarrassing that I'm just now switching to W10.

    Hey Tito,
I was all excited, went to github and was reading install instructions, 2 minutes and get kicked off site for dilly-dallying too long. It said try again later, could take up to 1 hour. Ha.
The one at guru3d said it worked on XP thru 10, don't know if it had a sound manager included or not. Said it worked with ALC889A and about 35 other sound codecs. (sure it does)
Maybe I'll dump cache and cookies and go back. Must have been specific to that particular site.
    Busted for reading at github.
    Damn woke haters.

UPDATE - got it, I think.
