    I saw this could help with Office 2010, but all the threads to download it seem to be gone. Is it still avaliable somewhere? Thanks in advance!

    @fayid39055

    IORRT was part of the Rearm Wizard project.

    Now I'm curious: Why are you using Office 2010? And why don't you opt for an up-to-date KMS solution instead of keeping Office in trial mode?

    It says the download for the Rearm Wizard project was unavaliable. Also, I use Office 2010 because it's always been dependable for me. If it does the job, I'm fine with it even if it's out of date.

    • The source code is still available on the first post of the aforementioned thread. You just need to save it as a batch file to run Rearm Wizard.
    • IIRC, Rearm Wizard dropped support for Office 2010 in favor of 2013. The standalone IORRT thread was abandoned long ago, which means no download link for it.
    • Using an old and unsupported consumer product isn't generally recommended. With that said, opt for the KMS activation route if you really want to stick with Office 2010.
    • From where did you get your copy of Office 2010?
    @zucrin

    The user already has Office 2010 installed. Besides, the URL you mentioned doesn't offer volume installed images, which are required for KMS activation.

    I like Office 2010 because it doesn't lag like 2013 seems to when I'm working on big documents. I can barely type without it locking up and all. I got my copy from the Internet Archive. I get 2010 is old, but I'm willing to take the risk as I don't do much on my computer as is to worry about opening anything bad, etc. What would you recommend to keep Office 2010 up and running properly?

    That doesn't seem to work with my installation. Do you know where I can find a trial version of Office or an ISO that'd work? I appreciate y'all helping me with this, thank you!

    You can convert it to VL, activate it,
    and it will work like half a year ( if I'm not wrong )

    That'd be fine. As long as it works, I'm down. After the half a year is up, I can rearm it, right?

    If anyone has 2013, do you know how to solve the lag problem when typing? I can do a little each time before it locks up momentarily and does what I want it to do. I've tried looking around, but there doesn't seeem to any solution. I'd be fine with 2013 if I can get the lag problem dealt with.

    Edit: turns out it slipped into reduced functionality mode. How do I fix that too?

    @fayid39055

    Welcome!

    Well, a properly activated Office instance will never face the reduced functionality mode, which is why I'm suggesting you to opt for activation. But at the end of the day, it's your call.

    :rolleyes:

    Well, that's just it. I did exactly what you said. I uninstalled, did a fresh re-install, used the license converter, used KMS_VL_ALL, and then opened a document. As I worked on it, everything greyed out. I properly activated it as far as I can tell.

    Umm... did you download and install using the VL ISO? And what does the activation status option of KMS_VL_ALL say about Office?

    It says it's licensed (error code: 0 as licensed/license status: ---LICENSED---). Is it a matter of the key? The last five characters of the key are H3GVB, and IIRC Microsoft does block certain keys.

    Is there any resource on MDL or elsewhere that can help with this? I did exactly as told - I downloaded the VL ISO, installed it, installed the SP2, and then used KMS_VL_ALL to activate. Like the screenshot shows, it says it's good to go. Yet it keeps slipping into reduced functionality mode while I'm working? o_O
