Hi MyDigitalLife, I was simply wondering if it would be possible to remove the "Republic of Gamers" logo from the bootup of my Asus Rog Strix GL703GM laptop? It shows "Republic of Gamers", instead of the Windows 11 logo. On my desktop (Asus Prime Z390-A) It works fine by toggling it in the UEFI BIOS, but no such thing exists on my laptop to my knowledge... Any help is greatly appreciated, as usual! Kind Regards, Skull Kid Also, I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but I've searched far and wide and didn't get any hits on this.
I think that's the case, yes. I read somewhere about the Asus MyLogo tool, bundled with the Asus AI Suite 3. However, I cannot get it for my Rog Strix GL703GM as it doesn't exist on it's driver's page.
In the past there existed some info on how to change the EFI boot logo, maybe @Tito can show some light on it.
I had ROG Zephyrus laptop a few years back and there wasn't an option to remove the visual logo. It was even missing in the bios dump, where a lot non-user-facing bios options show up.
It's after all not the end of the world if I cannot restore the Windows 11 default logo, but I was curious if it was even possible, without some major tinkering.
Alright. Thanks all for your replies! I'll take a look at HackBGRT. I did download it before, but couldn't find a way to restore the default Windows logo with it. But I will do some more research on that.
The default one is applied by Windows Boot Manager when there is no BGRT in ACPI (quite common in early UEFI implementations), or you've turned on CSM (aka Legacy booting support). Why don't you grab/create an image with the Windows logo and use it via HackBGRT?
