    Does anyone know of a tool that can convert known SHA1 hashes of files to a hash that can be used in ed2k or eMule, as well as conversion to say MD4 or MD5 etc.? Is it even possible to convert hashes from one to another?

    Very strange desire. But still interesting.

    I think such a tool would be very helpful, especially in searching for files when not actually knowing the file size or name (if the expected file name was changed).

    @takuan

    There is none, as it is actually impossible to achieve, based on how hashing works.

    I was afraid of that.
    Thanks.
