[Answered] Upgrading cpu on HP Envy Phoenix 860-000NA

Hi,

I wish to replace the existing i7 6700 cpu with the k version.
The motherboard is Thimphu
The socket type is LGA 1151.

During my search I came across the 8th series of this - 8700K which claims to fit the socket type.

Is this the case or should I stick to the 6700K.
