My PC recently booted up as not genuine, despite flawlessly using the Microsoft Toolkit for several years. I get the following error at bootup: And this error in Microsoft Toolkit 2.6.2: I've been running this same Win 7 since it came up with no issues. Please help me find solution to make my Win 7 genuine again. Thanks!
Code: Application Name: slui.exe Looks like a corruption might have appeared. Check with (in admin cmd): Code: sfc /scannow
@toolkit You showed output of 'Check' from the 'Product Keys' tab, please show the one from 'Activation' tab.
Run this command in an elevated cmd and the txt file with the results will appear on your desktop: Code: findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt"
A lot of files tampered including Activation related ones . If no backup exists to revert to, a Repair Install (as Inplace Upgrade) might be needed.
Corruption of a multitude of files could be from a bad sector on the drive, You might want to check the health status of your hard drive.
My suggestion is backup all your personal files, and re-load Windows 7 with DAZ Loader, then you should be ok, OR try able use WAT FIX and use DAZ loader tools.. should work? But my suggest to backup and re-format clean.. DOUBLE check your hard drive has no bad sectors..
WATRemove (REMOVEWAT) = an old and system corrupting "activation" which is deleted from MDL long ago. I think you mean WATFIX by DAZ?
Hopefully I'm not being too impolite in necroing this thread but I thought that might be the wisest instead of starting a new one. My story is pretty much similar to his except I left to visit the family on Friday and when I got back on Sunday evening I was greeted with the Windows is not genuine, no booting involved. I've attached the log file I got from WAT Fix. I'm honestly hoping reinstalling everything isn't needed.
Attached. I also ran sfc /scannow which came out "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations." EDIT: I've also removed the Windows update which most likely triggered the flag
@Kalevala 1. You're running a KMS activated Windows 7 Pro - which emulator did you use? 2. Why don't you opt for OEM:SLP and use Windows Loader or modded bios? 3. Aren't you using a mobo from Asus?
