If I may advice you do not use thirt party antivirus for your computer ! Stick to windows Defender that is good enough and better use commen sense is something looks to good te be true on the net don't get gready or you will end up with an infected system even with antivirus running :tea:

Comodo Antivirus works very well, just to uncheck a few things ... no problems

All of these are junk. Stick with Defender or, better yet, common sense.

Been using Defender for a long, long time (back when it was MSE) and have been impressed by how well it worked when I did stumble into something nasty (rarely), and by the sheer absence of false positives and other false alarms. It's the lightest footprint and the least invasive of any of them.

Like others are saying, just stick with defender and use common sense.

No reason at all to have anything else installed. People who push anti-virus and always complain about viruses just need to pay more attention to what they do on their systems. Get something really nasty you can always just do a quick reset. Then you have the ones who complain about having to reinstall all their games and apps if they have to do a reset. They're just lazy in all honesty.

the most respected mdl users said all them antivirus softwares are all snake oil.
in theory, you are safer to run without AV software these days.

I see no antivirus can be fully trusted. I saw using an adblock like adblock plus or ublock origin and never bothering with those "you need x codec to play this video". Stick to downloading stuff from known sites, (example get ms toolkit here and don't google it and jump on google's first result) Personally I always disable defender to save some hard drive's extra reads but most importantly I avoid bloatware like (avast, avg, and all that crap)

Users that do not use an AV are akin to someone with The Plague.

to me AV is one of the most clever money making inventions in the computer business......just like in the medical field people who take vitamins and antibiotics all the time because they think it will keep them safe and immune;) big farma racks billions just selling does two products alone. AV is their cousin:D

Yep, your body doesn't need vitamins, minerals, only chocolate chip cookies.
