Hi. I just bought a Sim Card-Reader on Ebay.com, and I can't get it to work with Win 7 (Mine is Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit). Of course I haven't seen that in the description it's written: Support WINDOWS VISTA/2003/XP/2000/ME/98SE/98,Mac OS 9.0. The question now is: can I get it to work somehow with Win7 as well? As soon as I launch the program that came with the disk - I get Not Responding message. I tried already to check the compatibility tab with Win XP and Vista, with no success. I'll happy to hear solutions. Thanx.
Send link of product or photo of the box. We can't guess what product you have. It seem like OEM Chinese crap....
Well, I've tried to link to the product page at ebay.com, but I had to remove the link, since I don't have 20 messages yet. I will try again now.. Maybe now it will work this way whitout the http ebay.com/itm/2-1-USB-2-0-Micro-SD-TF-SIM-Card-Reader-GSM-CDMA-/230657611480?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D1825194625692982380%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D1%26 BTW - IT IS a Chinese crap.. just also Chinese crap suppose to work sometime..
They really kick u with this 2$ product It will be faster to buy one that support W7 that trying to make this one work with OS that isn't support.
It won't be faster, just because of the delivery time (3 weeks at least...) I'm trying to install it through WinXP Mode. See what will happened. OK. So I tried the XP Mode, and I managed to install the software. Now my problem is that windows don't recognize the stick. When I plug it into the computer - in Win7 I get Unknown Device, but nothing in the Virtual XP. All other USB devices that connected to the computer are working as well in the XP. Any solutions?
