Any Download Manager recomendation?

    Hi all. This is a simple request. I want to download a huge file but I don't want to do it from chrome/firefox/explorer. Can you recommend me a lightweight download manager? (free or not free).

    I used to use Flashget but It isn't Windows 7 compatible yet. I want something officially compatible.


    Well, any recommendations?

    Thanks guys but I don't want to do it from a browser (or extension). And I use chrome, not firefox (chrome is muchhh faster).

    The best one is free download manager if you don't want to do it from the browser, Downthemall is the best if you do want to use it from firefox.

    +1 for freedownloadmanager

    Its free, lightweight, without ads/spyware and i can easily max out 100Mbit pipe :)

    I'm using the lite version + flashgot firefox extension to grab the links.
