Any way to change the colour of the text on the lock\startup screen in Windows 8.1?

    Is there anyway to change the colour of the text on the lock\startup screen in Windows 8.1??

    It's currently white but clashes with my background.

    does not appear to be a way.. one solution is to edit your graphic to create an area where the text will be viewed better.. such as a blurred/shaded/outlined area
